Scott Burnett, Esq., President/CEO
Scott spent much of his early career as a trial attorney who collected millions of dollars in settlements for his clients. Many of his cases involved peeling back the protection of a business owner’s Corporation or LLC, and attacking the personal assets of the owners. He now champions the cause to protect business owners from frivolous litigation, and government over regulation. Scott is considered to be one of the nation’s leading legal authorities on asset protection and tax education for Corporations and LLC’s. He is the author of “How to Protect Your Assets”, and the producer of the Lawsuit, Audit Protection Service that provides compliance protection for Corporations and LLC’s. Jason Giesler, Vice President/Operations
Jason oversees operations at Burnett & Associates. Jason has been with Burnett & Associates since the beginning. After spending much of his early years running his own small business, Jason decided it was time to help other business owners avoid the same trials and tribulations that he faced as a business owner. Over the almost ten years Jason has been in this industry he has helped thousands of business owners traverse their way through asset protection and estate planning strategies. Tom Murphy, Strategic Marketing
Starting his business career in real estate in Southern California, for more than four years Tom Murphy led and trained an office of 20 sales people to national recognition. Tom then moved his family to Arizona to pursue a dream of real estate development. In 1975 he and his top salesperson from California—Tom Hopkins— started a sales training company, ‘Tom Hopkins International’. Tom Hopkins was the speaker and trainer, and Tom Murphy ran the partnership, the marketing and writing. Over the next 20 years the Tom Hopkins organization grew to be one of the largest sales training companies in the world. Mr. Murphy and his team produced books, videos and audio programs starring Mr. Hopkins that helped millions of people achieve higher incomes worldwide. Mr. Murphy sold his interest in the company in 1996 to pursue business interests with his family. Joulene Charboneau, Office Manager and Document and Reconstruction Specialist
Joulene manages and oversees Burnett & Associates extensive compliance department known as the Lawsuit Audit Protection Service or the LAPS program. Joulene has been working in the business industry for well over 10 years, and has extensive knowledge of business and asset protection strategies. A true asset to Burnett & Associates Joulene is considered an expert when it comes to document preparation as well as reconstruction. Krissten Sibley, Document Specialist
As a document specialist with Burnett & Associates, Krisstin is always helping clients navigate through corporate record keeping. As an excellent addition to the Burnett & Associates team, Krisstin has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and a master’s degree from the University of California, Sacramento and specializes in document preparation as well as document reconstruction. Kevin Day is considered to be one of the leading estate planning and international asset protection planning attorneys in the United States. He is President of the law firm of Day & Associates Incorporated in Solana Beach, California. Mr. Day’s Bachelor Degree is in Chinese Studies, and he holds both a Masters of Business Administration in International Management and Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. He was a university academic administrator for eight years, a law professor at the doctorate level and a law school Dean of Students, before going into private practice. In addition to his legal expertise, Kevin brings his extensive business knowledge as an MBA in International Business to his law practice. Sandy Botkin is an Attorney and Certified Public Accountant he is also the Chief Executive Officer and Principal Lecturer of the Tax Reduction Institute based in the Washington, DC area.
